Anantasana – An Increased self-Awareness beside a Coach

I still remember the lines of the stoic Aristotle, “Knowing yourself is the beginning of all wisdom.” , and the work of the psychoanalyst- Carl Jung, “I am not what happened to me; I am who I choose to become” both had some deep connection if you ponder.

The word “Anantasana” has its roots from the Sanskrit and it refers to the state of sleeping Vishnu pose, symbolizing the eternal source of creation and existence.
This yoga posture fosters Inner peace, mental clarity and all of which leads to increased self-awareness.

What is self -“Awareness “?

It is when rearranged “SEEN AS WAR” between the self (ego and the soul). When the ego dies, the soul rises as a result of the combustion warfare.

*The True Essence of Self-Awareness*:

Self-awareness is often misunderstood as being about external circumstances. However, it’s actually about understanding the internal workings of your mind, emotions, and behaviours. Reaching this stage of consciousness takes time, effort, and introspection.

*A Journey of Inner Discovery:

To truly witness the state of being in life, one must develop a deeper level of awareness. This requires sobering up and observing life with a fresh perspective – essentially, looking at things with a third set of eyes. Awareness isn’t about sudden epiphanies or dramatic changes; it’s about gradually lifting your unconsciousness to consciousness.

*The Balance of Being, Doing, and Having*:

Achieving self-awareness involves striking a balance between being, doing, and having. It’s essential to understand your role and purpose on earth as a being and ensure that your actions (doing) and possessions (having) align with your true nature. When these aspects are out of sync, you’re likely unaware of your presence and haven’t truly grasped the concept of awareness.

*The Role of a Coach*:

As a coach, my role is to support clients in understanding this concept. However, the intention to seek change must come from the client themselves. It’s crucial for clients to recognize the need for a coach and be willing to work through their challenges.

*Breaking Free from Patterns*:

When clients find themselves trapped in patterns that hinder their progress and repeatedly affect their lives, it’s time for them to take action.

*Empowering Clients to Take Control:

Ultimately, self-awareness and transformation are within the client’s power. By acknowledging their patterns and being open to change, clients can break free from limitations and unlock their full potential.

 *Coaching with Empathy and Understanding*:

As a coach, my perspective on life journeys differs from my Coachees’. Therefore, jumping to conclusions isn’t beneficial for either of us. Instead, my approach prioritizes understanding the client from their unique perspective.

*Key Principles for Effective Coaching*:

1.*Validate their experiences*: Never neglect their thoughts and emotions, as these are deeply personal and valuable.
2. *Pay attention to details*: Every detail can provide insight and support their journey.
3. *Be open to their needs*: By being receptive, I can facilitate their self-reflection and growth.

*The Coach’s Role*:

As a coach, I serve as a guide or beacon, helping clients navigate their path. Self-awareness is an autonomous process, and true realization can only be felt by the client. My role is to support and facilitate their journey, not to dictate the outcome.

Self-awareness is once in a life time settlement opportunity involving the ego and soul to make amends with the self. It’s not a practice that can be certified or supported by scientific data. Those who have cultivated self-awareness weren’t necessarily chosen or privileged; rather, it’s a natural process that unfolds organically.

*A Gentle and Profound Transformation*:

Self-awareness is like a butterfly landing on a flower – gentle, effortless, and beautiful. It’s not something that can be forced or deliberately acquired. Instead, it’s a state of being that allows individuals to tap into their inner wisdom.

*A Path to Clarity and Understanding*:

Self-awareness isn’t a magical solution or a guarantee of a problem-free life. Rather, it’s a blissful state that brings clarity, peace, and understanding. It helps individuals distinguish between who they truly are and what they do or possess. With self-awareness, people can choose clarity over chaos, silence over noise, and gain a deeper understanding of themselves.

Cultivating self-awareness allows us to approach life’s lessons with wisdom and gratitude. Here are the “R” lessons that can guide us:

1. *Receive*: Accept life’s lessons with a smiling heart, embracing each experience with openness and curiosity.
2. *Record*: Reflect on the lessons learned, acknowledging the insights and growth that emerge.
3. *Register*: Integrate the lessons into our being, allowing them to shape our thoughts, words, and actions.
4. *Recycle*: Apply the lessons in every phase of life, recognizing that growth is a continuous process.
5. *Rejoice*: Celebrate the life we’ve received with gratitude, appreciating its beauty and complexity.
6. *Remember*: Life is a journey, and our path may differ from others. We can stay focused on our own destination, even when others may not be aware of theirs.
7. *Reign*: Live life as our reward, embracing the freedom to choose compassion, humility, and empathy towards others unconditionally.

By embracing these “R” lessons, we can cultivate a deeper sense of self-awareness, live with intention, and find joy and fulfilment in our journey.

A Lifelong Path never ending journey, and never turning back:

As others may perceive, this journey is not as simple as it seems. With no set parameters or certifications, self-awareness is a lifelong learning process. Every moment is an opportunity for growth, and the presence of the being is balanced between doing and having.

*The Fruits of Self-Awareness*:

The results of this profound learning are not documented in any discourse or journal. Those who have attained enlightenment or samadhi often remain silent, sharing their wisdom through their being rather than words.

*The Wisdom of Silence*:

As the saying goes, “Speech is silver, and silence is golden” – especially when one has attained enlightenment. In the stillness, lies the depth of understanding and the essence of self-awareness.

In the event of such transition, one must be aware of that,

Conclusion:

“This journey needs awakening and wilful self-scrutiny in all possible ways, this can’t be ignored or refrained. Need to be tough on yourself. Acceptance is the key and Understanding is the relief earned through or from this journey.”
